manchestereveningnews.co.ukA Come Dine with Me star could soon launch a new addition into Oldham’s nightlife scene. Mark Fairley, who featured on the hit Channel 4 series with his The Old School BBQ Bus, plans to open a new speakeasy-style bar on Royton high street.
A Change of Use application was approved last week for the apartment above the hair salon Razz & Company on Middleton Road.
Punters would enter through the building's concealed side entrance via a staircase before they can reach what could soon be a swish new venue called ‘The Trap Door’.
Fairley’s new project is a departure from his street food restaurant and catering service, which he delivers out of his ‘characteristic’ American-style yellow school bus.
