Jackson Hastings has been named co-captain of the Combined Nations All Stars for this month’s clash against England. The Wigan Warriors half-back is eligible to represent Shaun Wane’s side due to an English grandmother and he played for Great Britain under the guidance of Wayne Bennett in 2019.
However, he’ll be lining up against England on June 25 as he skippers Tim Sheens’ All Stars at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. Another co-captain will be announced in the coming days when Sheens names his 19-man squad for the game, made up of non-English players currently competing in the Super League.
Hastings, though, admits he is thrilled to be able to pull on the All Stars jersey, which has been launched and is designed in honour of former Hull KR
