Coleen Rooney won't be moving to Plymouth with the children following her husband Wayne Rooney's new job. It comes after the former professional footballer, 38, was announced as the new head coach of Plymouth Argyle with hopes of getting them "closer to the Premier League".
During a Plymouth press conference on Thursday, 4 July, Wayne confirmed that his doting wife won't be moving to the city in Devon amid his new career move.
When asked by sports reporter, Amy Christophers, who was also on Married At First Sight, if Coleen would be moving to Plymouth, the football manager replied: "No she won’t be. "I think my children, my eldest son is at a really important stage of his life, football as well as school." He continued: "Of course you miss them but this is my job, this is what I want to do, so you have to sacrifice certain things in order to be the best you can be. "I'll see them as much as I can." The former England captain was announced as the head coach for Plymouth Argyle in May and started working with the team at Home Park this week.
This is Wayne's first role since he was sacked by Birmingham City earlier this year in January after being in charge for 83 days.
