However, it appears that a staggering half of those earnings could be handed over to the Australian tax man. Blick Rothenberg, experts in tax matters, have highlighted that celebs face a hefty 45 percent appearance fee tax in Australia.This means that Coleen could have to pay up to £750,000 of her prize money in taxes down under.
Veteran journalist Michael Buerk, who took part in the show back in 2014, expressed his own surprise at the sizeable cut claimed by the tax office.
