She had lodged court papers alleging that Coleen libelled or slandered her with the accusations with court documents showing that Rebekah filed a claim for defamation – libel and slander on 12 June, issued in the media and communications list.
Coleen’s lawyer, Paul Lunt of Brabners, issued a statement saying: ‘It is disappointing that Mrs Vardy has chosen to issue court proceedings.‘Coleen feels that the time and money involved could be put to better use; her offer to meet face to face.
