Coogan appeared in character as Alan Partridge to sing covers of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” and ABBA’s 1976 hit “Knowing Me, Knowing You.”For night five out of six scheduled shows at Wembley, Coogan emerged on stage as the erratic talk show host from his BBC sitcom series.

Coldplay performed their nightly duology of covers with the unique trio of Steve Coogan (in character as Alan Partridge), Jacob Collier and Nicole Lawrence.As all shows on the run have been thus far, Coldplay’s show on Saturday (August 20) was split into seven segments, which saw the band perform across three different stages. They welcomed out the impromptu supergroup for the second-to-last of those segments, taking to the “C-Stage” in the middle of the dancefloor. Clad in a gaudy red tracksuit, Partridge took the reins from Chris Martin on lead vocals, while the Coldplay frontman played acoustic guitar and sung backup. Lawrence added depth to Martin’s strumming with her performance on a pedal steel guitar, while Collier fleshed out the soundscape on piano. For their two-song micro-set, the group covered ABBA’s 1976 hit ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’ and Kate Bush’s newly-made-cool-again ‘Running Up That Hill’.

Olivia Newton-John will be given a special send-off in her native Australia, it has been announced.

Olivia Newton-John detailed the fierce attraction she and "Grease" co-star John Travolta had towards each other while filming the iconic film in recently resurfaced excerpts from her 2019 memoir "Don’t Stop Believin." Newton-John opened up about the first time she and Travolta met on set of the movie, writing that their chemistry was indisputable and everyone in the room could see it. She wrote at the time, "When we walked inside the room together, it was magic, and everyone saw it." She even revealed Travolta was the one who initially recommended her for the iconic role.

Dame Olivia Newton-John's heartbroken husband John Easterling has paid tribute to “the most courageous woman I have ever known”, following her death on Monday 8 August. John announced via Facebook and Instagram that Olivia, best known for playing Sandy in the 1978 hit film Grease opposite John Travolta, had passed away peacefully aged 73 at her Southern California ranch in the early hours of Monday after battling cancer on and off for 30 years. John has once again taken to Olivia's official Facebook page to post a heart-wrenching but uplifting tribute to Olivia, saying that she was “the most courageous woman I have ever known” and that her caring nature “almost eclipses what is humanly possible”.

John Travolta, died on Monday aged 73. Sharing news of her death on social media, Mr Easterling said she had passed away “peacefully”, surrounded by family and friends. In a new post, shared from Dame Olivia’s account on Wednesday, he thanked fans for “the ocean of support that has come our way.
