Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Her former lawyer Orlando Herran said she's already making career moves while waiting to return to Oz from Colombia - and wants to become a translator or a teacher. 'As she speaks both languages she could work as an English teacher, translator, or something of the sort,' Herran told news.com.au. 'She wants to work and is in the process of getting the relevant paperwork, but as the offices are closed the process is difficult at the moment.' Cassie leaves behind her fiance, Joli Pico, who still has 27-months of her own prison sentence to complete before she is released.
