A coastal castle near Scotland's "Town of the Year" is currently looking to hire staff. Barcaldine Castle is a 17th-century tower house castle near Barcaldine, around nine miles north of Oban, that is currently operated as a luxury bed and breakfast.

At the moment, it is seeking two people for Seasonal Housekeeper and General Assistant positions. The jobs will be on a seasonal contract, from March 27 through to October 31.

The workers will be paid a salary of £2,000 per person per month.The successful applicants will be provided with accommodation.

This will consist of a "beautiful" fully-equipped one-bedroom apartment with utilities and Council Tax included, while one pet is also welcome.Other benefits include a housing allowance and on-site parking.
