It’s been a long wait for Olivia Rodrigo fans looking to see the singer live on tour in Manchester. Last year, the US singer, known for hits like Vampire and Driver’s Licence, had originally announced two big shows here set to take place at Co-op Live on May 3 and 4 as part of her GUTS World Tour.
But, with the venue’s opening week being delayed due to technical issues, the two shows were postponed with just 48 hours notice and there has been no sign of new rescheduled dates - until now, that is. A short while later, Co-op Live's boss Tim Leiweke said it was up to the singer and her team to decide when they could return.
In the five months since the shows had been due to take place, fans have been pleading with the singer - either through TikTok songs, or even direct attempts - for news on when she would finally take to the stage in Manchester.
