Co Down man Matt White. A past pupil of Regent House and Queen's University, Matt left Northern Ireland aged 21 to move to Essex to work with The Salvation Army.
But after five years he decided it was time for a change, and started to pursue his dream of working in TV. "At 21 I moved to Essex to work for the Salvation Army, I did that for five or six years and then I sort of just sensed I wanted something different so I tried to get into media, did a bit of volunteering at a local radio station, tried to be a stand up comedian, it went terribly!"I thought I wanted to be a presenter, all those things but in the meantime I worked in the background as a runner, researcher, all those things and really what I discovered was I loved the creative.
