We’ve got another huge game next week against Forfar.“Football is not going to stop, you need to pick yourselves up, and at some point you’ll get your rewards.”McLean added: “I’m incredibly frustrated, I feel for them in there, they put so much effort into the game.“In the first half we were clearly on top, and I said to them at half-time that at some point during the game they will need to suffer.“They suffered initially in the second half because [Stranraer] came out and changed their shape.“We weathered that storm for a 15 to 20 minute spell of the second half, managed to inch our way back into the game.“We had opportunities to score, exploited some really good space and we just need to pull the trigger, trust our instincts, when we get in and around the box.”With only three substitutes on the bench, including goalkeeper Neil Parry, McLean admits he needs to find reinforcements – but it’s not that easy.He said: “You could see Stranraer dropping like flies with cramp, and [they had] a number of options and substitutions they could
