One of them is to keep an eye out for a code that's often displayed on food packaging. Gemma Bird, AKA Moneymum to her online fans, asked her TikTok followers if they wanted to "know a hack for buying fresher food".
The savvy shopper then highlighted a code printed on a packet of leeks in her local supermarket, which often goes overlooked.
