Claudia Winkleman is known for her smouldering black eyeliner, trademark heavy fringe and glowing tan, but on her way to mastering her signature look has encountered some beauty disasters.

One of which saw a major fake tan fail which she likened to an episode of Friends.The Strictly Come Dancing host, 52, is a self-confessed tanorexic, admitting, "I feel better when I'm orange" - and she'll do anything to get that tinted look. "I am burnt orange.

I will use anything for my fake tan. I would use gravy. I have used mud before. I will use a brown Sharpie," Claudia has humorously confessed.

But it hasn't always been her area of expertise, as she previously revealed what happened when she embarked on her first fake tanning booth.
