Scottish band Altered Images has announced a comeback and will release new music for the first time in almost 40 years. Singer Claire Grogan shared the news with her Twitter followers and revealed the band had recorded a new album, which will be coming out some time in 2022.
The band have signed a deal with Cooking Vinyl, who also manages the likes of The Fratellis, Nina Nesbitt, The Darkness, Passenger and more.
The band hit success in the early 1980s when they had six UK top 40 hit singles and three top 30 albums between 1981 and 1983.Their hit songs included "Happy Birthday", "I Could Be Happy", "See Those Eyes", and "Don't Talk to Me About Love" before their last album 'Bite' was released in 1983.The reunion sees the full band come back.
