Clare Balding has been left "broken-hearted" after her beloved dog Archie passed away at the age of 15. The sports broadcaster, 49, took to Twitter to honour her late pooch in a poignant tweet as she penned a thoughtful message from the heart.

Heartbroken Clare wrote: "I am so sad to tell you that our beloved Archie has walked his last walk. "@alicearnold1 and I are broken-hearted but grateful to him for the joy he gave us, the places he took us and the friends he brought us. "We miss him so much.

RIP Archie 2005-2020." The BBC sport presenter shared her beloved Tibetan Terrior with wife Alice Arnold. Fans rushed to send their condolences and well wishes to the broadcasters following the tragic news.
