A bishop was attacked during a knife rampage caught on camera during a sermon that was being live streamed. Several worshippers are also said to have been attacked in the incident.
It is the second mass stabbing in the Australian city of Sydney in the last few days. Footage reportedly shows the moment that Bishop Mari Emmanuel was attacked while preaching.
It's understood the alleged attack took place at The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley in Sydney's west on Monday evening when a knifeman walked up to the altar and stabbed him multiple times.The Mirror reports the video was broadcast live on the church's YouTube page, and it shows the bishop looking up in shock as the man suddenly starts striking him with the knife.
He appeared to be stabbed in the face and the head in the horrifying incident. There are also reports that at least two others were also stabbed in the incident at the church and it is believed that there was just one attacker involved.One person wrote on X: "It's with great sadness I post this.
