Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has vowed "2022 will be a brighter year for me" as he nears a return to action. The French centre-back has been out for over a year after rupturing his cruciate ligament against Dundee United in December 2020.

His return to action has been repeatedly put back but the Celtic man returned to training at Lennoxtown this week. And after missing the whole of 2021 the defender is determined this year will be better as he gets set to help the Premiership title challenge.

He wrote on Twitter: "For sure 2022 will be a brighter year for me... So I'm wishing you all my people a bright and healthy year 22."Now let's go! #BackInBusiness."The 28-year-old also added his familiar hashtag #HoopsUpsideYourHead.An Under-20 World Cup winner with France in 2013, Jullien joined Celtic for a fee of £7million in the summer of 2019.He helped Neil Lennon's side to a domestic treble in his first season, despite occasionally coming under fire for weak defending.He bagged the only goal of the game in the League Cup final against Rangers in 2019 but struggled last season.Celtic failed to win a trophy as they finished 25 points behind their city rivals, with Jullien crocked from December onward.The centre-back also tested positive for Covid after the ill-fated trip to Dubai.
