Veteran actor Christopher Biggins reckons it was a blessing his showbiz pal Cilla Black died suddenly as she would have been a “terrible patient”.
Saturday marks the fifth anniversary of her death aged 72 from a stroke following a fall at her holiday home in Spain Biggins, now 71, became close to Cilla when he worked with her on the hit TV series Surprise Surprise.
In an interview with former telly co-hosts Anne Diamond and Nick Owen, Biggins spoke of his shock at news of her passing.
