A self-proclaimed 'Christian mother' has been praised for supporting her son who came out as transgender. Mother-of-eight Jill Wallace, from Pennsylvania, released a video on TikTok explaining how she said she would support her 12-year-old son's decision to switch sex.

The mum, who goes by @mamajillwallace on the video-sharing app, has notched up 13.5 million views for her heart-warming message "My child just came out as transgender.

And I'm a Christian mother. So I want you to know how it happens in my house,". "This is my son Jayden," she says in the clip. "I love you.
