Sir Elton Hercules John CH CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight; 25 March 1947) is an English singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums. John has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has more than fifty Top 40 hits, as well as seven consecutive number-one albums in the United States, 58 Billboard Top 40 singles, 27 Top 10 singles, four of which peaked at number two and nine of which reached number one. His tribute single "Candle in the Wind 1997", rewritten in dedication to Diana, Princess of Wales, sold over 33 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling single in the history of the UK and US singles charts. He has also produced records and occasionally acted in films. John owned Watford F.C. from 1976 to 1987 and from 1997 to 2002, and is an honorary life president of the club.
Chris Hemsworth

Christopher Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor. He rose to prominence playing Kim Hyde in the Australian TV series Home and Away (2004–07) before beginning a film career in Hollywood by taking on parts in the science fiction film Star Trek (2009) and the thriller A Perfect Getaway (2009).

Hemsworth went on to star in the fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), the war film Red Dawn (2012), the action thriller Blackhat (2015), the biographical thriller In the Heart of the Sea (2015), the comedy Ghostbusters (2016), and the Men in Black film series spin-off Men in Black: International (2019). Chris Hemsworth will star on CBeebies' Bedtime Stories

Chris Hemsworth has been announced as the latest famous face to read a children's book on CBeebies' Bedtime Stories. The Australian actor, 38, will read Salina Yoon's Stormy Night on Friday on the children's bedtime show, which airs every weekday at 6.

50pm. He is following in the footsteps of other famous faces who have appeared on the programme, including Harry Styles, Elton John and James McAvoy.

Chris will channel his Marvel character Thor, the God of Thunder, as he will tell a sweet story about a bear who is frightened of the rain and thunder.

The father-of-three - who shares daughter India, 10, and eight-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan with wife Elsa Pataky – said he 'loves nothing more' than reading to his own kids and is honoured to appear on the show.
