Chris Hemsworth Suits Up for Australian Premiere of 'Spiderhead,' His New Netflix Movie!

Chris Hemsworth is going to be back on Netflix with a new movie! The 38-year-old actor walked the red carpet for a special screening of his new film Spiderhead on Saturday (June 11) at The Entertainment Quarter in Sydney, Australia.

This marks Chris‘ second movie for Netflix following the hit 2020 film Extraction. A sequel for that one is already in the works!

Spiderhead, also starring Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett, will be released on June 17. Here’s a synopsis: In a state-of-the-art penitentiary run by brilliant visionary Steve Abnesti (Hemsworth), inmates wear a surgically attached device that administers dosages of mind-altering drugs in exchange for commuted sentences.

There are no bars, no cells, or orange jumpsuits. In Spiderhead, incarcerated volunteers are free to be themselves. Until they’re not.
