Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American filmmaker, actor, film programmer, and cinema owner.
His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, aestheticization of violence, extended scenes of dialogue, ensemble casts, references to popular culture and a wide variety of other films, soundtracks primarily containing songs and score pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s, alternate history, and features of neo-noir film.

In an appearance on the 2 Bears 1 Cave podcast in December 2022, Quentin opined that the MCU’s actors are “not movie stars.” “Captain America is the star.
Or Thor is the star. I mean, I’m not the first person to say that. I think that’s been said a zillion times…but it’s like, you know, it’s these franchise characters that become a star,” he explained.
At the time, multiple actors in the mega-successful film universe weighed in, including one of Quentin‘s friends and a central actor in the cast.
