Since her brief (and stunning) cameo in “No Time To Die,” Ana de Armas has been candid about what she thinks about the “James Bond” franchise. For instance, last year, she told EW that she didn’t think the next James Bond should be a woman, but women need a “more substantial part and recognition” in the franchise.

Chris Evans has revealed that hosting Saturday Night Live would immediately give him “anxiety” and that he has “avoided” the opportunity.During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor was alongside his co-star Ana de Armas discussing their new film Ghosted. The conversation was introduced as the Blonde actress shared that she would be hosting SNL herself.When Evans was asked about a potential future appearance on the comedy sketch series, the Captain America actor said he would much rather make a small cameo than host the show.“Well, now a cameo I can handle,” Evans replied.

Ghosted is an over-caffeinated action comedy romance that tries too hard to be too many things, starting out as a sweet budding rom-com before drastically morphing into a violent international spy-chase movie anchored by a constantly bickering couple. This is one of those Hollywood movies that rarely slows down to breathe, throwing everything at the wall and just hoping some of it sticks.

But then there are movies like “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” where the love gets sandwiched between vehicular mayhem so aggressive it’s played for “laughs,” and the too-muchness of the whole thing becomes like one of those fast-food fusion experiments. Sorry, but the movie escapism equivalent of a burger topped with a quesadilla served with cheese fries is not my idea of a good time.

But in his latest Apple TV+ action film “Ghosted,” it’s Ana de Armas who’s doing the rescuing. “It was great. I mean, we’ve all seen Ana be badass; she was so good in [‘No Time to Die’],” Evans told Variety at the New York premiere of “Ghosted” on Tuesday night. “It was nice to be the damsel in distress. It was nice to need saving — primarily because I didn’t have to sweat during the action sequences.” Directed by Dexter Fletcher (“Rocketman,” “Eddie the Eagle”), “Ghosted” follows hopelessly romantic Cole (Evans), who falls head over heels for the enigmatic Sadie (de Armas). When Sadie seemingly ghosts him, Cole follows her to London as a romantic gesture, only to discover that the girl of his dreams is a CIA agent on assignment.

Jeremy Renner shared sweet post-it notes penned by his 10-year-old daughter Ava he said "inspired" him during his recovery from a serious snowplow accident.The New Year's Day incident left him with 30-plus broken bones.  "My daughter inspires me … what inspires you?" the "Hurt Locker" actor wrote on his Instagram story along with a photo of a Post-it note with "Hi beautiful" and a smiley face and a heart written in Sharpie on the mirror in his workout room.  A second photo showed another sticky note with "Just keep running, just keep running" stuck to his treadmill.  Renner was crushed by a snowplow and broke dozens of bones on New Year’s Day at Lake Tahoe, California, when he was attempting to help his nephew move a truck stuck in the snow.  Renner exited the snowplow to check on his nephew, but it kept moving, so he jumped back on to stop the snowplow only to get caught in the tread.  The Marvel star was airlifted to a hospital in Reno, Nevada, and had surgery after suffering blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries when he was "completely crushed" by his 14,000-pound PistenBully snowcat.   Last week, the 52-year-old shared photos of him returning to the hospital to thank staff for their care after the incident.  "I got to revisit the amazing group of people who saved my life," the "Rennervations" star wrote on his story.  In March, he shared a video in which he was seen walking for the first time since the near-fatal accident as he used an anti-gravity treadmill.

Aziz Ansari is making his feature directorial debut with Good Fortune at Lionsgate, a movie he’ll also write and star alongside with Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogen. Lionsgate will launch sales for the pic at Cannes next month, which is also when cameras roll in LA. The storyline is under wraps.
