Andrew Cuomo, who resigned from office last year after a sexual harassment investigation.“I feel like I lost a sense of purpose for a while because of how things ended,” Cuomo said when Maher asked him if he misses CNN, where he once hosted the station’s most-watched show.
After Maher asked him if he was happy, Cuomo responded that that is “probably not the right word.”Cuomo came on “Real Time” to promote his new podcast, “The Chris Cuomo Project.” He also announced on Tuesday that he is joining NewsNation this fall, marking his return to TV news after he was ousted at CNN late last year.
Cuomo’s departure from CNN came after the investigation into sexual harassment allegations against his brother, former New York Gov.
