Toni Cornell unveiled her take on Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike" for coronavirus relief during LiveXLive's Music Lives digital music festival on Sunday (April 19). "I'm gonna sing one of my favorite songs for you guys," she says in her Instagram video. "I love you, Daddy, and I hope I do this some justice." For her performance, the teenager stripped down the 1991 debut single by the rock supergroup, which was led by her father, the late Chris Cornell. "I don't mind stealing bread/ From the mouths of decadence/ But I can't feed on the powerless/ When my cup's already overfilled," she sang while strumming an acoustic guitar. "Sitting in my dad's home studio during this crazy time makes me miss him even more.
