Chloe Madeley has candidly spoken about the two-word message she gave to her famous parents, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, following her split from James Haskell. The 37-year-old discussed the final years of her romance with the former England rugby star and expressed that she had "won the lottery" with the support from her parents.
When her marriage started to falter with James, Chloe had some stern words for her parents when sharing the news. Speaking to The Sun, Chloe revealed: "I'm sure they didn't want my marriage with James to end - they have that old-school mentality about the family unit.
But I said to them, 'Trust me, I'll be happier doing this than if I stay.'" Despite her strong position, Chloe shared that Richard and Judy have been incredibly supportive since her divorce, often reminding her of her own words whenever she frets about what lies ahead. "If I ever get worried about the future, they remind me what I told them. They reassured me that it was the right thing to do, and I'm eternally grateful because they made me feel I could handle it.
And the fact is, I made the right decision - for all three of us," Chloe elaborated. She also touched on the struggles of raising her daughter, whom she shares with James, as a single mum, confessing that the uncertainty of it was "panic-inducing".
