Chloe Madeley and husband James Haskell have officially confirmed their split in an online statement following weeks of ongoing speculation about the future of their relationship.
The daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan and the rugby star turned DJ announced they had separated at the end of September after five years of marriage.The news comes after the couple sparked rumours in recent weeks after they both ditched their wedding rings and spoke about having their "biggest row ever".
James admitted he was feeling "a lot of sadness" as he shared the same statement with his followers shortly after Chloe, the Mirror reports.Chloe and James are parents to their one-year-old daughter Bodhi and confessed that the ongoing speculation surrounding the state of their relationship had forced them to go public with the split.
In her statement Chloe said: "James and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September, 2023. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand."Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.
