Chill Factore set to reopen as lockdown restrictions ease

The skiing and snowboarding hub has been shut to the public for months. At one point, it was used as a giant fridge to store food and other supplies for frontline workers.

From 1pm on Monday (April 12) the site is set to open after bosses got special permission from Visit England as a sports venue.

Indoor hospitality venues will still not be able to open. Opening hours will be different, social distancing will be maintained and Covid-compliance policies have been rolled out for visitors and staff.
