Children's TV star welcomes baby boy saying 'welcome to the world our angel'

A beloved star of children’s TV has welcomed a baby boy into the world. John Adamo Pearce, who is known as the Purple Wiggle in The Wiggles, has revealed that he and his wife Jessie became parents to their first child on Monday, 16 December.

As they shared the happy news, the pair also revealed the name that they’d settle on for the little one - Henry Nicholas Adamo Pearce.

Brimming with joy, John, 33, said: “Our beautiful boy has arrived, and we couldn’t feel more blessed. Jessie and I are savouring every precious moment with our little angel.

We’re so thankful for the love and support from everyone.” Meanwhile, in an Instagram post the TV personality, who has starred on the children’s show since 2021, shared a series of snaps of his family of three. “HENRY NICHOLAS ADAMO PEARCE 16.12.24 Welcome to the world our beautiful angel.
