School is officially out for many kids and the summer holidays are underway, meaning that families will be looking for ways for everyone to spend some quality time together.
Unfortunately, with the cost of living on the rise, spending time out and about can become an expensive activity.Thankfully, supermarket giant Asda has announced that children across Scotland will be able to eat at their cafes for just £1 - and adults don't have to spend a penny.
In a bid to help tackle holiday hunger at a time when the cost of living is higher than ever, children aged 16 and under will be able to access a hot or cold meal for just £1.
The Kids Eat for £1 initiative will be available all day, every day until the 4th of September, as long as the café is open and dependent on the store, a hot meal or cold meal, or both, will be on offer.
