Child star of 'Love Actually' slams iconic movie as a 'cheesy, s**t sexist film'

A child star of iconic Christmas film Love Actually has emerged to slam the movie as “cheesy, s**t and sexist” 17 years after she starred in it.

Lulu Popplewell was just twelve when she famously said she was the “lobster in the school nativity” in the hit Richard Curtis movie.

Lulu played Emma Thompson’s character Karen’s daughter in the 2003 blockbuster. She only bagged a few lines, but fans of the film will remember the little girl telling her baffled mum that she was to play the part of “first lobster” in the acclaimed movie.

But Lulu, now a 29-year-old comedian, has revealed she hates the film for its portrayal of women. She also revealed she was "non-ironically" snubbed by the film's star Hugh Grant, who she claims refused to talk to
