An air ambulance landed in Platt Fields park on Sunday afternoon after a child was left hurt following a 'suspected ride malfunction' at the fairground.
Emergency services rushed to the south Manchester park, in Fallowfield at around 4.15pm (April 17). Videos showed a helicopter landing, after the North West Air Ambulance charity were also called out to the incident.
Onlookers watched as it landed on a grassed area beside the fairground, which has had its run extended until May 2. Vehicles from Greater Manchester Police were also called to the incident, as well as paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service, who parked up on Platt Lane beside the entrance to the park.
