A child was airlifted to hospital after a fall from a high window onto a street below, witnesses say. Police were called to King and Queen Street in Walworth, South London, at 7.31pm today.
The child, whose gender and age are unknown, was airlifted to hospital 'for assessment', police say. A witness said they saw the child fall from a window, although this has not been officially confirmed.
London’s Air Ambulance was seen landing in Nursery Row Park just before 8pm, the MailOnline report. A spokesman for Metropolitan police told MailOnline: "A child fell from height at 1931hrs at an address in King & Queen Street, SE17. "The child has been taken to hospital for assessment.
