‘Chicago Fire’ Star Alberto Rosende To Exit Series
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: After four seasons starring as Blake Gallo, Alberto Rosende is set to exit from Chicago Fire following a final appearance in the Season 12 premiere, Deadline has learned.
Sources say his departure from the Wolf Entertainment/Universal Television drama was fully amicable. Rosende debuted on the hit NBC series in the second episode of Season 8 titled, “A Real Shot In The Arm,” as a reckless new candidate for Firehouse 51 who impressed, yet frustrated his colleagues.
He was initially cast in a recurring capacity but was upped to regular in 2019, as Deadline reported exclusively. Kara Killmer, who played Sylvie Brett since the show’s premiere, is also set to leave the Chicago Fire in Season 12.
And although fans will see two fan favorites move on, they can count on the return of Taylor Kinney, who returns next season following a leave of absence.
