That drama is crazy enough, of course, but the behind-the-scenes hurdles that Sorkin had to jump to bring the film to fruition more than a decade after he originally began work on it is already legendary.
And as is apparent from a recent profile at THR, Sorkin’s drama with the release of the film didn’t end after production, but it extended to the release strategy, as the film’s studio was unsure about how to distribute it during a pandemic.
