A woman was utterly astonished after discovering her Greggs Too Good To Go bag contained over 63 items. The app, which offers food that might otherwise go to waste at discounted rates, is becoming increasingly popular among bargain seekers.
Customers don't know exactly what they'll get, as it's based on the store's leftover stock nearing its sell-by date. Sometimes, this results in just a few pieces but on other occasions you hit the jackpot.
So Rebecca O'Brien didn't know what to expect when she opened everything up. To her delight, she received 44 caramel shortbreads, five pastries, six sandwiches, two toasties, two chocolate eclairs, four sausage rolls, and a selection of cakes in her Too Good To Go bag.
The 33-year-old mum from Warrington, Cheshire, managed to stretch the food over multiple meals, treating both herself and her family, as well as sharing with colleagues.
