Despite splitting back in 2018 the relationship between singers Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne, is back in the headlines.The duo got together in February 2016 before they split in 2018, despite their first meeting on X Factor back in 2008 when Liam first auditioned for the show as a teen.There is a ten year age gap between the pair with Cheryl now being 39, and former One Direction star Liam Payne being 29.

Despite the age gap the pair have a son, Bear together who was born in March of 2017, and the pair then split just over a year later.

The pair may have thought that the comments surrounding their relationship due to the age gap was in the past, but due to Phillip Schofield's affair they are back in the headlines.

Many people have been pointing out that the duo first met when Liam was only 14, at that time Cheryl was still married to footballer Ashley Cole.
