Cheryl reportedly played peacemaker at Liam Payne's funeral, helping to ease tensions among the One Direction lads.The singer, who dated Liam from 2016 to 2018 and shares a son with him, was joined by her Girls Aloud pals Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh at the private service on Wednesday.

Zayn Malik and the rest of the One Direction boys set aside their differences to attend the funeral, marking their first reunion in nearly ten years.

The last time they were all together was when they supported Louis performing shortly after his mum's death - another heartbreakingly tragic event.

Since then, there have been reported difficulties within the group, but Cheryl, 41, who has been a rock for Liam's parents Geoff and Karen, and sisters Nicola and Ruth, was there to help smooth things over.
