The cheapest supermarket for Christmas food shopping has been revealed in a new report by consumer champions Which?. Christmas is a very expensive time of year, and thanks to the current cost of living crisis, many of us will be looking for ways to make our money go further.

But with food inflation hitting an all time high recently, it seems like there's no way around a hefty festive food bill. Thankfully, the experts at Which?

have discovered the supermarket where you can get a trolley full of all the Christmas dinner essentials you need - and it'll only cost you £30.

Asda came out on top, with 10 popular Christmas food items totalling up to £30.72. These products included a medium frozen turkey crown, a stock pot, sides of sprouts, potatoes, parsnips, red cabbage, carrots, cranberry sauce, stuffing and a Christmas pudding.Next up was Tesco, with the same selection of items costing £32.07, followed by Sainsbury's at £35.57.A full Christmas dinner at Morrison's will set you back £37.21, with Waitrose being the most expensive at £42.Budget supermarket favourites Aldi and Lidl weren't included in the comparison, because they don't stock the same range as the bigger shops do.But Which?
