Country singer Charly Reynolds says that she had to undergo surgery on her vocal cords.The 23-year-old singer-songwriter told People Thursday that she gradually began noticing that she was having issues with her vocal cords last spring.'Suddenly, I was having trouble singing,' the Florida native said. 'But I didn't stop singing.

I just thought I was singing too much. I was taking on too much. Maybe I was just tired.'Reynolds, whose tracks include Rodeo and Tonight In Texas, said that four months later, she could not sing longer than a half-hour without losing her voice.Reynolds, who is working on an EP for release this year, said she subsequently visited a doctor who diagnosed her.
