Charlotte Dawson has revealed she has a cardboard cutout of dad Les in her home at Christmas. Comedy legend Les Dawson died in 1993 when Charlotte was just a baby.
It led to Charlotte’s mum Tracey putting up a cardboard cutout of the comic at Christmas, so the family could feel as though he was still around.
Former reality TV star Charlotte says the family also visit Les’ statue on the seafront in Lytham Saint Annes, Lancashire. Les’ grandchildren, Noah and Jude, then “give him a cuddle” and dress him up for the festive season. She said: “Christmas is a big thing for me and my mum because we always make sure my dad is included. “We always go to the statue and dress him up and the boys come as well.
