Charlotte Crosby has spoken out following her terrifying home invasion, revealing that she has been hospitalised. The Geordie Shore star, who is eight months pregnant, was at home with her two year old daughter Alba when the masked intruders broke in.

Her fiancé Jake Ankers attempted to chase the four machete-wielding robbers but was unable to apprehend them. Now, the 34 year old has updated her followers on Instagram, stating that her Black Friday plans have been "crippled" due to the incident, which she admits she's still struggling to process, reports the Mirror.She confirmed that she is currently in hospital but reassured fans that her unborn baby is unharmed.

However, she expressed her frustration over experiencing "misfortune after misfortune" this month.In her latest Instagram Stories update, Charlotte wrote: "[Two crying face emojis] Can't believe all my plans for our huge Black Friday activation have been crippled!
