The Wigan Athletics player who collapsed during training has revealed the scars he has been left with after a defibrillator was fitted in his chest.
The device is to help Charlie Wyke keep playing football and is similar to the one that was given to Danish international Christian Eriksen, who Wyke says 'inspired' him to make a comeback to the sport.
Last year, Wigan forward, Charlie Wyke was rushed to hospital after he collapsed during a training session. It was revealed that the player's heart had stopped beating for four minutes. In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, the player, originally from Sunderland said: "It was the scariest day of my life.
