Charlie Puth is opening up like never before. The 30-year-old singer-songwriter released the music video for “That’s Hilarious” on Wednesday (May 4), which was directed by Matthew Daniel Siskin.Click inside to read more… The song was co-written with longtime collaborator JKash, and explores “the pain of feeling betrayed by a breakup.” It’s featured on his upcoming album CHARLIE, due out later this year, which is described as his personal work yet. “You took away a year of my f–king life, and I can’t get it back no more / So when I see those tears comin’ out your eyes, I hope it’s me they’re for,” he sings. Charlie got candid about the story behind his song on TikTok, where he choked up and cried.
