MTV star Charlie Balducci passed away on July 25 at the age of 44 years old and his cause of death has just been released.
The New York Medical Examiner’s office confirmed to the New York Post on Monday (January 25) that Charlie died of “acute intoxication” after taking various prescription drugs.
The examiners found oxycodone, hydrocodone and Alprazolam – the drug commonly known as Xanax – in Charlie‘s bloodstream.
The True Life star was found at his Staten Island apartment and pronounced dead at the scene. Charlie was known as “Charlie B” in his reality TV days, appearing on the MTV show True Life: I’m Getting Married.
