Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Jeremie Frimpong isn't good enough to play for Celtic. Dundee star Adam has called for a massive overhaul of the Hoops squad with Neil Lennon 's side 19-points off the pace in the Scottish Premiership.

The 20-year-old right-back was singled out by the former Liverpool man for his defensive weaknesses as he called for a whole new squad to be introduced at Parkhead.

Adam told the PLZ Football Show that he didn't rate the youngster as they discussed a mass exodus next summer. He said: “Frimpong, I don’t think he’s good enough.“Yes, he’s good going forward but defensively I don’t think he’s at the level everybody thinks he is. “They desperately need a right-winger with James Forrest coming back from an injury and I think he’s been a massive.
