Charley Webb shared an exciting update on her acting career after discussing a potential return to TV early last month. The actress is best known for portraying Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale for a whopping 19 years.
She hadn't been seen in the ITV soap since the start of 2021 leading to speculation she had quit the show. However, she later confirmed that she'd officially waved goodbye to her feisty character much earlier than people realised.
In January she said that she left to have her son Ace, now two-and-a-half, and only returned for 10 weeks to complete a storyline which saw Debbie involved in an affair with Al Chapman while he was engaged to Priya Sharma. We miss you on our screens." The mum-of-three replied: "When the right thing comes to me, I'll be back," she said alongside a photo of her posing in front of the camera in her laptop. "Can't wait," she added.
