Charlamagne Tha God, iHeartMedia Announce 2025 Black Effect Podcast Festival Lineup

Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Radio host, podcaster and entrepreneur Charlamagne Tha God and iHeartMedia announced the third annual Black Effect Podcast Festival, including featured speakers at the event aimed at aspiring podcasters in the Black community.

The event is set for Saturday, April 26, from 12-8 p.m. ET at Pullman Yards in Atlanta. Charlamagne Tha God will join the festival alongside some of the Black Effect’s most popular hosts for a day of live podcast tapings and discussions.

The 2025 festival will be hosted by Mandii B and WeezyWTF, the duo behind the Black Effect Podcast Network show “Decisions, Decisions.” Also appearing will be hosts of podcasts including “Woman Evolve” (Sarah Jakes Roberts), “Good Moms, Bad Choices” (Jamilah Mapp and Erica Dickerson), “R&B Money,” “Naked Sports With Cari Champion” and “The Trap Nerds.” Panel discussions during the event are slated to include “Adapting to Trends: The Future of Podcasting.” Last year’s sold-out show was also held at Atlanta’s Pullman Yards, after the inaugural festival in 2022 in Brooklyn. “We’re excited to return to Atlanta, building on the incredible momentum of the podcast industry and the growing impact of Black creators in the space,” Charlamagne Tha God said in a statement. “As the influence of Black voices continues to shape culture and drive conversations, The Black Effect remains committed to powerful storytelling, meaningful brand collaborations and unforgettable live experiences.
