Chappell Roan is having one hell of a year, and the singer has now announced a series of limited-edition vinyl pressings to celebrate the first anniversary of ‘The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess’.After releasing the album – her debut full-length LP – in 2023, Roan has soared to fame.
The album is on course to hit Number One in the UK, while her Lollapalooza set at the weekend is among the best-attended in the festival’s history.
Her rise can be attributed in part to her support slot on Olivia Rodrigo’s mammoth ‘Guts’ tour, as well as the runaway success of single ‘Good Luck, Babe!’In a four-star review of “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess’, NME called it, ”A display of Roan’s bold and brazen pen, where she places searing revelations alongside some deliciously cheeky choruses.Island Records shared the news of the limited-edition vinyl in a statement. “What a year it has been!” it said.
