Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor, comedian, film producer and entrepreneur. He began his career starring in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993) and had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 and 2001. Reynolds then starred in a range of films, including comedies such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005), and The Proposal (2009). He also performed in dramatic roles in Buried (2010), Woman in Gold (2015), and Life (2017), and starred in action films such as Blade: Trinity (2004), Deadpool (2016), and 6 Underground (2019).
Channing Tatum
Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor and singer. Tatum made his film debut in the drama film Coach Carter (2005). His breakthrough role was in the 2006 dance film Step Up, which introduced him to a wider audience. He is known for his portrayal of the character Duke in the 2009 action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and its 2013 sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Although both G.I. Joe films received negative reviews from critics, they were commercially successful, grossing more than $300 million each at the box office.

deadline.com“I thought I had lost Gambit forever,” actor Channing Tatum writes in an emotional message on Instagram praising Ryan Reynolds for helping rescue Tatum’s dream of playing the Marvel character.
Reynolds, writes Tatum, “fought for me and Gambit. I will owe him probably forever. Cause I’m not sure how I could ever do something that would be equal to what this has meant to me.
I love ya buddy.” Tatum was attached star in a Gambit stand-alone X-Men spinoff film back in 2014, but the project was scuttled in 2019 with the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney.
The Magic Mike star finally got to don the Gambit costume just this year for a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine starring Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
